Mechanical Cat card

This is my third post today. I am cleaning my craft room so I can actually have some space to craft. Unfortunately I keep getting distracted by finding  things I must play with!

My inspiration for this card came from 365 Cards challenge Day 197-sponge grunge. Used some glitter glaze medium, which I had for over 12 years but never opened before today, to sponge through metal effect mask. Then used vintage photo distress ink over the card and sprinkled some water. When dried added used a chalk ink and a home made mask to add some dots. Stamped, coloured and cut out the Mechanical Cat image (CO-286-K) from Third Coast Art Stamps. Used the Tim Holtz sentiment and distress stamps on the tag.  Hope you like it.

  1. This is a great card! I love what you've done with your various mediums to make the background (kind of like a science experiment!) and the cat image goes with it wonderfully!

  2. This is a stunning card, very striking, I love it!
I should clean up my craft room, too, but crafting is far more fun than cleaning up so cleaning just has to wait... I'll clean it when I can't get through the door anymore! Hee hee!
