Poinsettia flower tutorial

Someone asked me to do a tutorial for this flower I made a little while ago. It's really easy so have fun.

I used Sizzix Tattered Poinsettia and Tattered Leaves dies. Cut two of each petal and leaf from old music sheets. You can use other papers if you like.

Then colour the leaves and petals with Shabby shutter, peeled paint and fired brick Distress inks. On the two smallest petals I added a bit of shabby shutters to the middle. You will need to go over the petals a couple of times to get the intensity of colour. Once that's done you then need to gently crumple the petals and then glue them together. Attach the leaves to the base of the flower. I used 3D glue to attach the central piece of the flower. It is a really easy flower to make. Do take care when inking as the paper can tear easily. Have fun.
