First large oil painting

Hope you all had a great weekend. Wanted to share my first real attempt at a large oil painting. My only experience with oil paints were two Bob Ross classes at Hobbycraft over 17 years ago. Currently I am  undertaking a diploma in painting and drawing to give me foundation in art which I did not have and always wanted. So far I am having fun and trying out lots of different mediums and oil is one that has fascinated me.

I bought some oil paints, canvas and brushes from The Works in Royston  and using one of Paul Cezanne's still life as inspiration did this painting. Must say I was really pleased with the quality of the oil paints even thought they only cost £3! I know it's far from perfect, but I am so pleased with the finished piece.  There will be lost more playing with oils but this time the ones you can clean up with water. lol

Please be kind. lol

(disclaimer I do work part time for The Works but these are items I purchased myself and these are my personal opinions).
