Bit of orange

on

Been a beautiful few days with all this lovely sunshine. The cats and I have been spending a lot of time in the garden soaking it all up. Hubby is still working hard so can't enjoy it as much.

The floral image is from a Studio light stamp which was borrowed from my friend Ruth. I stamped image onto a piece of white card and cut out this section after it was coloured with Derwent Lightfast colour pencils.
It has been mounted onto a background made on the Gelli plate. I have tended to use all the left over paint from my painting sessions to make backgrounds, better than wasting it. 
The sentiment stamp is from a set by Uniko.
