Flower power

Finally got around to using this image I coloured a couple of weeks ago. The image is a Studio Light stamp I borrowed from my friend Ruth.  It was stamped onto white card and coloured with Derwent lightfast pencils ( my wonderful hubby just got the the set of 100 pencils for my birthday).
The background was done with watercolours and then distress inks and then added gesso through an Aall and create stencil. The page was die cut (Elizabeth Crafts die) from pattern paper I had over over 10 years.

Stunning and most gorgeous colours here
Radiantly beautiful! The notebook style border is terrific. I've always been such a huge fan of that style of border die/punch - or the real deal from paper removed from a notebook. Thank you for reminding me to employ it again in a make of my own one of these days.
