Experimental landscape

Hope your Friday is going well. Had  a lovely muddy walk around the fields this morning but it was sunny.  Just finished the final painting for Pet Portrait course and had some paint left over. This is a very experimental canvas for me as I  don't normally us a palette knife to paint with. The entire painting was done using oil paints and a palette knife. Really like some of the textures and mix of colours.

Joining the lovely people over at Paint Party Friday.

Looks wonderful! I also don't use palette knives often and I'm not confident with them.
What a lovely painting!
Take care, hugs Elke
So much fun to try new things.
And your palette knife painting turned out to be so pretty.
Have a creative and fun weekend, Anesha.

That's really pretty Anesha!! I love the textures! :)
Terrific job! The textures here really help to convey a sense of being out in nature, with its own abundance of such in most woodland settings, all the more.
