Stamping Sensations

 

Can you believe it's 2021 already, where did the last year go?

 It's time for the first  challenge at Stamping Sensations  for the year and this month we would like to see creations using your favourite stamp.

 The sponsor for this month is Penny Black and there are two wonderful stamp sets up for grabs. Hope you will come and play with us and be inspired by the creations of the rest of the design team.

 Penny Black cat stamps, especially ones by Margaret Sherry are my favourite stamps of all time. This particular Penny Black Stamp called 'Difficult ?' is one of my go to stamps. The sentiment stamp is also a Penny Black one called 'It's your birthday' which fits perfectly with the image. 

The cat image was stamped onto white card and coloured with water colour paints. The sentiment was then masked and stamped at the top and bottom of the image.  Then used a stencil and blue ink to add detail around the image. The background was created with various glimmer paints and stencils. The stars were then die cut and added for extra detail.
