My second post of the day. Tried to clean my craft room yesterday as I don't have much floor space left but got distracted. Found this shadow box frame I had for a few years and could not resist having a play.
The sentiment I found on Pintrest and I used Memory Box dies to cut the layers. The large yellow flowers were stamped (Sheena Douglass stamps) with distress ink and cut out with the matching dies. The other yellow flowers were made with one of the flower layers. The leaves were stamped and cut out (both Sheena Douglass stamp and die). The small flowers were made using Sue Wilson dies. The butterflies were Memory box dies. The silver background was made using silver foil and the green layer was made by putting it through a embossing leaf folder and using inks and foil as well. The pins used were handmade (made them a few months ago). Other dies used were Sizzix, Sue Wilson and Tattered lace.
Would like to enter this in the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge: Summer days
I was inspired by my garden in summer which is full of flowers and butterflies.
