Getting messy

It's lovely to play with Brush again and get a bit messy. Paula has a new monthly challenge and the first challenge theme is Take flight. The first thing that came to mind was this Tim Holtz stamp which I have not used in ages.  The background layer was done with alcohol inks and then embossed. The layer with the stamped image was done with Brusho crystals. I used glossy accents on the birds and pitt pen to shadow the tree. Was really nice to do something just for fun.
Will also like to enter this card in the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge: Autumn colours.

Just to let you know that Skipper's blog has been taken down, she will pop up on here sometime. :)
Have a great day.

Gorgeous card. The birds in flight stamp is a beautiful one to use. The bright alcohol inks make this look like autumn.

Really love the Brusho background and the choice of stamp you've used - you've made me realise I haven't used alcohol inks in years, must dig them out and have a play again. Many thanks for taking the time to join in with my first challenge - appreciate it greatly x
