Splish Splash Set

Beccy Muir's Splish Splash Set

These images are just perfect for the weather we have been having. Don't think it stopped raining since Friday!
This set is one of the new released from Beccy Muir. You can see what the other DT members have created with these very useful image at Beccy's Place.

My first project is an ATC. Cut a piece of white card to ATC size and then colour washed the background with watercolours and then drew the border with a permanent marker. Printed and cut out the image and the sentiment  from the Splish Splash set and layered them onto the background.

The second project is a card. The background was made by dragging various colours of Panpastel down a piece of white card. Then over stamped with flourish stamps in brown. The image was printed onto white card and then dye based inks were used to colour  it. Sprinkled some water on top and then blotted it. Really like how the colours worked in this card.

Have a great day and thanks for looking.

Beautiful cards and backgrounds, love the colours and the words. I hope you are doing well in the drizzly weather here. Here it's been mild but somewhat dreary. We wait for cold weather to come as it brings the sunshine back. Take care and purrrrs to Skipper xx
