Update on Skipper

Hope you are all having a great Friday. Wanted to update you on Skipper. She had an overnight stay at The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital for a second time and is now back home and doing well. We can't praise the staff of QVSH enough, they too very good care of her both times she was left with then. She is remarkable for her age and they have found that the problem she has been having is due to her back knees caps, which are a bit loose. The good news is her current pain meds are fine and surgery is not needed at the moment.
Thank you for your concern for my beautiful girl.

Sharing this photo of her bringing back her catch a couple of weeks ago. :)

Thank you for the update of Skipper! So glad she is doing well :-) It's great that vet figured out the cause of the issue and meds are working!

Sounds like very positive news on Skipper Anesha, lovely photo of her as well. I second all you say about Queens, they care for our horses and being a teaching hospital we can always be assured visits will comprise of several vets and trainees who are always so friendly. We go to the AHT for the dogs and the same applies there.

Skipper you are one remarkable ginger girl. WE will keep purrin for you!
wonderfull news for you and for Skipper ofcourse, She's such a beautiful cat, the colour of her hair... wow! I hope she'll be with you for a long, long time!
Thanks for the Skipper update, great that you know what the issue is, poor girl but good her meds are helping. Sometimes my knees hurt too :) Too bad we can't send our cats for special exercises :) Skipper looks good with her catch. Archie goes for his dental surgery on Monday, they will do more blood work to check his kidneys first. Poor guy, but he will feel better when he heals (we hope). Take good care, purrrsss from Archie. xx

Glad to hear Skipper wont need surgery. After just losing my Rags after 13 years it is so hard to watch them in pain knowing they cant explain to you just what is happening. Glad the meds are working. Hugs, lJ
