Thank you so much for the kind comments and emails about Skipper. She is finally home and doing well. She is eating on her own and using her litter try again. She has a feeding tube in and her stitches which should come out next week.
Can't tell you how relived and happy we are to have her home. The preliminary results have come back negative for lymphoma, which is fantastic news. They think she got really ill due to a very large and hard hairball lodged in her stomach which they removed last Wednesday. She looks so funny with so many shaved patched, even one on her tail! :)
This is a bag I sewed and decorated for the vet student who was looking after Skipper. She took such good care of Skipper and I wanted her to remember one of her first patients.
Have a wonderful day.
