Sewing project

Hope you had a lovely weekend. Was nice to get a bit of rain for the garden. Spent today making this beach bag for my sister, really hope she will like it. Did not measure the fabric just folded in half and cut where I thought it looked right, cut out the lining fabric by using the main fabric as a guide. Then cut out a square for the bottom corners of all the layers of fabric. Also made a pocket for the inside and covered a piece of mount board with main fabric for the base of the bag.
Really please with how it turned out.

Skipper is doing really well, she caught two furry things yesterday and brought one inside (alive)!

Have a great day.

I want to comment on that beautiful bag you made from scratch, but I can't get furry thing inside and alive out of my mind. I hope Skipper was able to keep things from getting too scary. Anyway, Anesha, I'm sure your sister will be thrilled with this gift.

Wow the beach bag you made for your sister is fantastic, very beautiful with material that is perfect. Skipper sounds like she is doing well, catching critters and yikes letting them in the house! Archie is great, eating well and playing a lot, it's a relief. Take good care, hugs, Shirleyxx ps... Archie sends purrrrssss
