Skipper and a bit of sewing.

Hope you are all enjoying your Easter bank holiday. For those who want to know, Skipper is doing much better. She has her meow back and would like to say thank you for all your concern. This was taken a few days ago when we has some sunshine, she fund the almost dead cat mint plant!
She is still sneezing but hopefully when the warmer weather arrives she will be back to 100%.

After church yesterday I actually did a bit of sewing. I needed a new neck pillow for reading in bed so instead of spending £20 I made one! I used the pillow case to draw the pattern and filled it with beads for an old bean bag. Really pleased with how it turned out. Did lean that next time leave the opening at one end and not the middle. lol

Have a great day and God bless!

Well done on sewing the pillow, I'm proud of you! And it's only by doing these things that we learn by trial and error....I could give you a whole list of how I've discovered little tricks! Good to see Skipper is feeling better too 😊

Just popped over to thank you for your kind visits and apologise for being such a bad blogger of late, I am keeping it all crossed that when I go into hospital next week they will sort this dodgy kidney once and for all.

And pleased I did come over as I see Skipper has been poorly, sending her healing thoughts and love for a quick recovery.

Glad Skipper is better. The neck pillow looks great. I can't tell if it is straight or curved. I have two that I use in the winter to warm up the bed and my feet. They are not NECK pillows but look like yours. One is filled with barley and it works best. The other is filled with rice. I heat each in the microwave for 2 minutes. The barley one is store-bought. I made the rice one. And yes, I left one end open till filled.
Noah sends purrs to Skipper. Hope she is well again. The neck pillow looks lovely.
Take care
Alex
