Tangled Garden

Time for another release of digital stamps by Beccy Muir. This wonderful set it called 'Tangled Garden' and is very versatile.  As with all of Beccy's digital stamps, the set comes with both black and white images and coloured ones also.  You can find this stamp set and may others in Beccy's Place Shop and inspiration on Beccy's Place blog.

There is also a challenge every month and Beccy kindly gives to a free image to play along. Do come join the fun!

With the Tangled Garden  digital stamp set, I created two projects a mixed media piece and a card. The mixed media piece started as a blank canvas board. It was then coated in three colours of Imagination starlight paints. The next layer was done with a stencil and structure paste. I printed one of the images  and sentiment from the Tangled Garden set and then coloured it in with alcohol markers. Layered  on pattern paper and then added the roses (sprayed with glimmer mists) and die cut leaves.

This card was a lot simpler to make. I printed on of the black and white images from the Tangled Garden digital stamp set. Was then  coloured it in with alcohol markers. The background was embossed and then used an ink pad to lightly glide over the surface of the embossed card.
