Journal Page

Had this sketch of the lady in my sketch book for a few weeks. After  watching  Sharon Hurst on television today I decided to play with my Inktense pencils and the image. I am really please with the how it turned out in the end.  Was not sure about the background colours but I like how the black writing stand out from it.

Found a couple of new  challenges today and I am really hoping they will give me the kick I need to create or paint something every day.

First, thank for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment.

I Love your journal page. I think your background colors work quite well. The composition is well organized, visually interesting, and the distribution of the colors, writing, and geometrics help ground to your figure and keep her from appearing to float in space. You make me wish, once more, that I could draw or paint!

Good luck with your quest to create every day!
Hugz,

Anesha; I think the colors blend nicely; there's no "one" that stands out to take away from the whole design; great job !! ☺☺♥♥
