New painting

It has been a bit of a stressful few days so out came the acrylic paints  and canvas bought from The Works in Royston. I have used acrylics for craft painting before but not artist acrylics for fine art before.  I am really enjoying my Drawing and Painting course as it is making me try lots of new mediums and styles of painting.

Skipper has not been very well recently. We had another visit to the vet this morning and three more injections which she was not happy about.  We are still trying to get her to eat but it's not easy. This photo was taken a couple of hours ago.  Hoping that she will perk up soon.

Have a great day.

Your painting is beautiful. It feels serene.
I am sorry to hear that Skipper is feeling poorly.
Hoping she is soon on the mend... and not having to get any more injections.

Poor Skipper, I do hope she perks up soon, always a worry when they don't eat, we have a lab the same at the moment and when a lab doesn't eat you know something is not right. A real ethereal feel to your canvas.

Your painting is surreal. I would like to take a painting course one of these days. I did do a one stroke course once and it was fun. Poor Skipper! Hope she is well soon. Hugs, lj

I think your angel is wonderful! Are you near Royston? I don't think I've ever been there but I live in Hertfordshire. Hope your cat continues to improve.

I can see the direction you are heading with your painting and it is quite lovely. I do feel for Skipper though, that adorable face shows how unhappy she is. I hope she's feeling LOTS better!
