Kitty stamp

My husband will say if there is a cat in it I would buy it, not strictly true! I did however HAVE to purchase this new set of cat stamps from Tim Holtz, how could I resist. lol

I stamped the cat on smooth watercolour paper and coloured him with watercolours. The sentiment was stamped onto white card and cut out. Made the faux brad with a piece of black card and metallic waxes. The background was made with the Gelli plate anc acrylic paints.

Hope everyone including all the stray dogs and kitties stay safe in this bad weather.

God Bless.

Oh I absolutely HAVE to get this stamp set! I can see me using it even more than my old Katzelkraft ones. Love what you've done with it here, you've made those staring eyes really pop and that background is gorgeous. Thanks for another great entry at SOSS - I think the current challenge was made for you!

Well, giving in and purchasing this set was worth it! I never owned his bird set and I want it now to make a split card, I think they would be perfect. I may have to give in and get them!

Your image is nicely colored and I absolutely love your background. Last week I threw away my Gelli plate. I will have to make another. I haven't played with mono printing for a while but you may have gotten me back on track.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such nice comments. I am trying to get better about visiting my friends. If you see a TH bird project on my blog, you will know that I have failed.
Hugz,
Chana

I’m just in love with your card – everything about it. You were right to adopt him LOL (anyone who doesn’t stamp could ever understand that just one more image thing, right?!) I’m so liking what you’ve done with the gel plate and the contrast it is to the image - I really appreciate your sharing how you made your card :-) Nancy
