Skipper's eyes

Got a lot of work to do on this Pet Portrait course and it does not help when you get the flu. This assignment is focused on eyes and I just had to draw my baby girl's beautiful eyes. They are not perfect but I am happy with them and hope that my tutor will be as well. Got one more set to paint and then on to the next lot of assignments.  The first first set of eyes were done with Derwant Coloursoft pencils and the second graphite pencils.

Taking part in

Have a great day and thank you all for the visits.

These are amazing! They reflect what I see in my own kitties’ eyes, so realistic. Don’t you sometimes wonder what they are staring at? I do.

Hi Anesha :) I love the eyes...very well done! You really captured the cat look!!

How do you like the Derwent pencils? I'm new to coloured pencils, I have Prismacolors and I like them. All of my charcoal pencils are Derwent, love that brand but I've never tried their coloured pencils yet so I'm curious.
What a wonderful drawing - and such expressive eyes!! Beautifully done!!
