Storm in oils

Over at the London Art College this week's challenge is Storm. Decided it was time to get my oils out again and have a go at this challenge. I just looked at the stormy sky outside and started to paint and this is my result. I am really happy with this as it's so outside my comfort zone and  was fun.

Storm is a rather difficult theme, I think. I can understand it’s outside your comfort zone :-) But you did such a fantastic job! Your storm looks dramatic and beautiful!

I love a painting that has life and movement. This has so much of both, and truly depicts the unsettledness of a storm. Very well done!

I think it looks great Anesha, there is a lot of movement there and oils are great for that! :)

Thanks for sharing another of your talents! I love your oil painting. I am so envious of those who draw and paint. My hubby does both and I am just amazed. I struggle painting my nails so I am not blessed that way.

Your painting reminds me of Van Gogh's Starry Night!
