My first Christmas card of the year. The image and the sentiment are from Beccy Muir's digital stamp set called 'Little Donkey'.  The image was printed onto watercolour card (from The Works 300gsm) and coloured with Derwent Inktense pencils and watercolours. The background was made by stamping three snowflakes stamps from Beccy Muir's clear stamp set ' Snow Drifters'. 

My tip
I have found that by printing digital images onto watercolour card I can use water based products to colour  with them without any bleeding.

Anesha, this is such a great Christmas card! Now I must admit I am a bit partial to donkeys. Beside the biblical reference, they are just the sweetest creatures and the love affection and petting. I spent some time on a donkey farm meeting a dozen of them, each with their own quirky personalities, but all were just the most adorable and gentle animals I have ever met. I'm still trying to convince my husband that we need one of our own! I love your coloring as it looks like fur! And I love that you made your own background paper to coordinate with the colors and them! Well done!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies 😁
