Bit of steampunk

on


It is getting much harder to make myself get into my craft room these days. The strange thing is once I am there, and the cats are not, it is easy to play.  The stamp used in this card is from Third Coast Stamps (sadly no longer around). It was stamped and coloured with Coloursoft pencils and then metallic powders around the edges. The dies in the background and on the image were cut out in black card and coloured with metallic waxes. The sentiment is a stamp from Uniko designs.

Oh wow very unique and fabulous!! I have a few steampunk stamps in my stash! Yes, I have had a very hard time coming in my craft room too as the weather has been so nice I hate to be shut in!!

Fabulously cool design! I really admire steampunk as a style (including on the fashion front), but haven't ventured down the path of playing with it too much in my crafting yet. You've inspired me to get more adventurous on that front (thank you!).
