Little Donkey

 So hard to take a good photo indoors without the right equipment. This is the best I could do. 

 Made this card using one of the donkey image and sentiment from 'Little Donkey' clear stamp (new) set by Beccy's Place. For the colouring of my background I took inspiration for Beccy's colouring which can be found here. Being a bit impatient I did it a bit differently, I added my dark blue layer first and then took a light blue and light grey markers to bleed out the colour. Then used a white Lightfast colour pencil to add the white twinkles. The ground the the donkey were also done with alcohol markers.

What a sweet, adorable holiday season greeting. It instantly made me realize that we don't see near enough donkeys on handmade papercrafts (be they for Christmas or other points in the year/reasons). They're such cute, wonderful critters and we should definitely put them in the crafting spotlight more often, if you ask me.

Isn't he just the sweetest Donkey Anesha, the farm up the road used to have two and Harvey used to hate them when we rode past, always crossed to the other side of the road to avoid looking at them.
