Playing with pencils

on


Working on my last oil painting for my Pet Portrait course and have been working on this in the break.  Decided to play with colour and some colour pencils. I am not very brave with colour so it's a great way to experiment in these journals. Hopefully it will make my paintings are bit more colourful in time.

Anesha; this is so cool !!! I have a tendency to be over bright when I color in the books.....then use gel markers and run out of a fave :) ♥♥

this piece turned out great :)

I think it's fantastic Anesha :) You are doing a great job with the layering of colour! I had a hard time doing colour for many years, I would stick to mostly black and white or monotones, then something happened and I finally started to enjoy it! :)
