Stamping Sensations - Colour my World

It's time for another challenge over at Stamping Sensations. This month the them is 'Colour My World' and we can't wait to see all your beautiful stamped creations.

The sponsor for the month is 'Bee Crafty'.
Prize is  £25 voucher

When I saw the theme for this challenge, knew it was time to  challenge myself with some bright colours. I got out my Golden high flow acrylics and a piece of good quality watercolour card and stared to play. The card was spritz with water before I dropped different colours of paints on. Once it was dry, added some gold paint through a word stencil.  Then  the master card was cut into several pieces. The one for the card was then over stamped with various Carabelle Studio stamps. The main image and sentiment are from Tim Holtz Halloween set.

The background of the bookmark was created from a piece of the master card. The cat image and sentiment are from Carabelle Studios. The cat was stamped, coloured (watercolour) and fussy cut. The sun die was added behind the cat and the cat and sentiment layered on top. Used a Crop-a-dile to add the grommet to the top.

You can find lots more inspiration for the rest of the design team on the Stamping Sensations blog.

Your card and tag are amazing Anesha! I love the bright collage style background but also what a little character the cat is on the card. I like the one on the tag too but the one on the card has definitely been misbehaving lol! What a perfect sentiment too. I really like the twine you used for both prohjects. It looks almost waxed! If you have a minute I'd love to know where it's from or what it's called so that I can source some. Many thanks, Vicky x
