Time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create. The theme for this month is Anything Goes with optional twist- In the Garden (Create a card for Spring).
I decided to use the optional twist and make a card for spring. The images I used are from a digital stamp set called 'Birdsong' from Beccy's Place Shop. I printed the main image ( twice) and the eggs in the nest onto white card. I coloured the bird with alcohol markers and cut it out and layered it on the main image. The background of the main image was done with distress inks. The bird's next was coloured with alcohol markers and pencils. The background was created with a print using the Gelli press and paints. Then used stencils and inks on top. Die cut the floral border twice and added them last. The sentiment came free with a magazine.
