Any Celebration and Favourite Stamps

First Sunday of month so time to show you my creations for Stamping Sensations challenge. The theme for this month's challenge is  'Any Celebration'.

Our lovely sponsor for this month is Craft Stash winner will get these stamps

This is a large 8inches square card. The image and die are  from Craft Stash TEXT{ures} range called 'Steampunk Typed Sentiments die and stamp set.  The image was stamped and cut out with the shaped die. The image was then coloured with alcohol markers and the sentiment stamped on the image. The words were die cut from yellow card and added to the image. The background die was cut and inked. The blue layers was done with watercolour paints onto watercolour card.

Also time to share my creations for We Love Chocolate Baroque Challenge. This month the theme is 'Favourite Stamps'.

Our wonderful sponsor is Chocolate Baroque  a small art and craft company base in the UK. The winner will get an A4 stamp set or stamps to the value of an A4 stamp set. Entries using a Chocolate Baroque image will be eligible for selection in our Featured Designer spot.

As anyone one who every visited my blog will soon realize that I love cat and dog stamps. You can see why I love this stamp from Chocolate Baroque 'Swirly Pets' set.

Firstly the colourful background was made using liquid watercolour paints and dropping them onto wet watercolour card. Before the card was dried, I used a stencil and faux bleached part of it. Then the cat image from the 'Swirly Pet' set was stamped three time using Versafine Clair ink and a stamping platform. The image and black mat were die cut  (Carnation crafts die set) and layered. They were then cut and placed on the pattern card. Then I added some glossy black drops to the background and cat's eyes.

To hope that I have inspired you to come and play along with us this month.

Oh Gosh that 1st card is fabulous, I do love Lou's Textured range but have not as yet used anyone of them! Shocking I know. The second CB card is really neat I love the bring colour against the kraft background and of course that wonderful cat silhouetted against it as well. Such different creation today Anesha, the first with the stamped typewriter and name coming out is a great way to personalise a card. And the Cat stamp is lovely against the bold backdrop.

I love typewriters! I've resisted this stamp as I already have lots lol! I really like how you used it and that blue background is lush.
Your second card is so clever the way you used part of the design off the edge, looks great.

Hi, Anesha! I actually learned to type on a typewriter similar to that one! (showing my age LOL). I just love your imaginative use of the message coming out of the typewriter's rollers! The steampunk dies are a perfect background for this vintage creation. Your swirly kitty reminds me of mine - she was black and always enjoyed being outdoors, "in the jungle", thinking she was creeping up to catch something, or surprise one of us! LOL Your cards are great! hugs, de

Two Brilliantly designed cards. xx
Terrific cards! I beyond adore the tattered + stitched dies used in the second greeting. If I had that set in my stash, I'd likely reach for it around the clock.

Thank you for sharing these inspiringly lovely cards with us, sweet soul.
