ATCs mit Herz/with a heart

The theme for this month's challenge over at ATCs mit Herz / with a heart is , 'Christmas Time'. 
Please remember our ATC (Artist Trading Card) must be 2 and half inches  by  3 and a half inches in size.
For my ATC, I started with a 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches dark blue card. Stamped the dots with white ink on the surface. Cut a piece of white card a bit smaller than the background and then stamped this image from Beccy's Place 'Festive Baubles' clear stamp set. Then used alcohol markers to colour the images. Once the sentiment was stamped, I took the dots stamp and with silver ink to stamp over the surface.

This is such a peaceful, timeless design. I've always been drawn to the use of blue hues in holiday decor and crafts. It speaks to the chill of snow and ice, and has an ingrained air of tranquillity to it (something most of us need big time as Christmas rounds the bend once again).
