ATC Around the World and Happy New Year

Wish you all a very Happy New Year and hope that this year will be full of joy and peace.

Over at ATC Around the World our first challenge of the year has begun. The theme for January is 'Snow' and I can't wait to see your creations. Remember were are and ATC (Artist Trading Card) challenge so must be 3.5 x 2.5 inches in size.

Must admit it took me while to come up with ATC. First thought was snowflakes but wanted something more. Found this adorable penguin stamp (Clearly Besotted) which worked pefectly with what I had in mind. Firstly I stamped the penguin and then masked it. Started with the lightest of the three shades of distress inks and blended them. Then used a sakura white gel pen and added my snow effect by varying the thickness of the white mark.

I was really pleased with the final ATC, sorry about the poor photo.
