May challenges

Stamping Sensations May challenge:Feminine
Prize this month :John Next Door stamp and dies from Grafton Crafts, a well stocked bricks and mortar and on line shop offering fee p&p on all orders over £15

This is always a special month for me as it's my birthday month! 😁😁😁
You are being asked to create something feminine, for May. I must admit, I was a little stuck with this theme, but then thought pink must be associated with femininity. Started with a blank sheet of white card and then using a brayer add Distress inks in fired brick, worn lipstick, tattered rose and spun sugar.  Then did cut the background with a Carnation Crafts die and then ebossed it with an embosing folder. Then stamped the main image from Beccy's Place: Cherry Blossom stamp set and then the individual flowers. The images were coloured with the distress inks used for the background and a few watercolour paints. The images were then die cut with the corresponding dies. The sentimen from Crafty Roo: My Faith stamp set, was stamped and then die cut. The card was then arranged as seen in the photo.

Two prizes of Lavinia Stamps and stencil (photos not to scale). Please note, we (Lavinia) cannot provide exchanges/replacements/refunds for any products received through this third-party giveaway.

Lavinia stamps used Vine stamp, mini seed head and Mooch.

For this card, I started with a blank white card. When used several colours of PanPastels to create the background. Then used a mask to take out some of the colour and leave the pattern. Then the various stamps were used on the background to create the scene.  Really enjoyed playing with PanPastels again.

Can't wait to see your creations.

Gorgeous cards Anesha, your colour is fantastic! I think you nailed the "feminine" brief for the first one, it's very pretty.
Great choice of colours for the second card, the purple and yellow contrast nicely!
