June challenges

 Stamping Sensations: Our Furry Friends

Stamp used: Penny Black wooden London Cabbie

You still have time to join us at both these challenges.  For this card, I stamped the Penny Black image onto white smooth card. Then used watercolour paints to colour the image and background. For the base card and the layer, Carnation Crafts dies were used and PanPastels to colour the background. Then used floral dies and leaf die to create the flowers. The bow was a die from Tattered Lace.
Two prizes, Penny Black stamps from Buddly Crafts

We Love Stamping: Close to Nature

For this card, I used a very old PSX wooden stamp K-1625. It is a beautiful stamp and should be used more often. The sentiment stamp is by Stampendous and it's one I really love.
The image of the scene was stamped onto white smooth card and coloured with watercolour paints. The image was then mounted onto die cut card and assembled as seen.

Prize Glorious Bouquet, a large Tim Holtz floral stamp: from Buddly Crafts

Love the cute animals with the taxi and the lovely flowers and bow are great layout additions. Your scene is so tranquil and the DP looks like the wallpaper that would be in the cottage! So pretty.
