Stamping Sensations challenge: Autumn or AG

Our prize this month is a £25 store voucher from Personal Impressions (inc pps, winner meets costs of any additional spend). Personal Impressions is one of the UK’s leading brand managers/wholesalers/distributors in the arts and crafts industry, specialising in mixed media, papercrafts, card-making, scrapbooking and journaling. PI are proud to represent over 70 brands from global, recognisable brands to small, niche and new.

Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year, love the colours and the little chill in the air. Time to start snuggling up and reading a good book. In preparation for this, I have made this lovely bookmark. 

Stamped the lovely falling leaves (Stampendous oak leaves) twice onto the bookmark blank. Then coloured the leaves and the background with watercolour paints. Added some details with a white posca pen once dried and then used a black permanent marker for the faux stitching.

Started with a pre-cut watercolour postcard, then spritz it with water and added layers of watercolour paints in autumnal colours. Once fully dried, used a Tim Holtz stamp on the corners and then stamped the sentiment. Added the red  berries with liquid pearls (ruby red). Was inspired by the beautiful brushes on the golf course.
